Abstract

MECANISMO DE CURSO E FOLGA VARIáVEIS. Montagem que, de maneira geral, inclui pelo menos um pistão alojado em um cilindro e um braço de transição acoplado ao pistão. O braço de transição é acoplado a um membro que é alojado em um canal definido por um membro giratório. O movimento do braço de transição ajusta uma distância de folga entre uma face de extremidade do pistão e uma parede de extremidade do cilindro, e faz com que o membro deslize no canal de tal modo que um curso do pistão seja mudado. O membro é configurado para permitir que o membro giratório gire com relação ao braço de transição e/ou é configurado para permitir uma mudança na orientação do braço de transição com relação ao membro giratório. Em outras implementações o braço de transição inclui um pino protuberante, e o membro giratório é acoplado ao pino protuberante de tal modo que o movimento axial do braço de transição mude uma posição axial do pistão no cilindro e faça com que o pino protuberante se mova com relação ao membro giratório ao longo de um eixo diferente de um eixo central do pino protuberante.
