Abstract

PROCESSO PARA A PREPARAçãO DE ACETAIS A presente invenção é um processo industrial para a preparação de acetais usando um sistema do reator de leito móvel (SMB) para realizar a conversão de reagentes (aldeído e álcool) e simultaneamente, a separação dos produtos da reação (acetal e água) pela adsorção seletiva. O reator de SMB consiste de um conjunto de colunas interconectadas empacotados com um sólido ácido (ou mistura de sólidos ácidos: catalisadores de adsorventes) eficaz para catalisar a reação entre aldeídos e álcoois e para separar os produtos da reação pela adsorção seletiva de pelo menos um produto. Em uma modalidade geral, esse processo envolve (1) alimentar uma mistura de aldeídos e álcoois e um desorvente o qual é o álcool, para um reator de leito móvel estimulado, (2) reagir aldeídos e álcoois para tomar acetais; e (3) remover do reator de leito móvel estimulado duas correntes, uma primeira corrente liquida compreendendo uma solução de acetal no desorvente (rafinato), uma segunda corrente líquida compreendendo a água formada e o desorvente (extrato).
