Abstract
"MOLéCULAS ISOLADAS DE áCIDO NUCLéICO, POLIPEPTìDEOS, GENE QUIMéRICO, CéLULA HOSPEDEIRA TRANSFORMADA, MéTODOS PARA AUMENTAR O TEOR DE TRIACIL GLICEROL E O TEOR DE áCIDOS GRAXOS <sym>-3 OU <sym>-6 DE TRIACILGLICERóIS EM UMA CéLULA HOSPEDEIRA TRANSFORMADA". Trata-se de duas aciltransferases, apropriadas para serem usadas na manufatura de óleos microbianos enriquecidos com ácidos graxos ómega em levedura oleaginosa (por exemplo, Yarrowia lipolytica). Especificamente, os genes que codificam a aciltransferase de fosfatidilcolina-diacilglicerol (PDAT) e a aciltransferase de diacilglicerol (DGAT2) foram isolados de Y. lipolytica. Estes genes codificam as enzimas que participam da etapa terminal na biossíntese de óleo na levedura. é esperado que cada uma delas desempenhe um papel chave na alteração da quantidade de ácidos graxos poliinsaturados produzidos em óleos de leveduras oleaginosas.
