Abstract
"PULVERIZADOR ELETROSTáTICO". The present invention relates to an electrostatic spray (1) comprising a channel (3) through which, in use, a fluid passes; one or more holes (8) to allow fluid to escape from the sprayer (1); and at least two electrodes (4, 6) in contact with the fluid when the sprayer is in use, so that when an appropriate potential is applied to said electrodes (4, 6), fluid particles are charged; at least one of said electrodes (4,6) has a fluid contact region comprising an almost contiguous array of non-fibrous conductive elements (13) generally projecting from the electrode (6) to form a set of tips electrode where the field generated by the sprayer is concentrated.
