Abstract
"PROCESSO E FORNO DE REDUçãO DE óXIDOS METáLICOS". A presente invenção diz respeito a um processo de redução de óxidos metálicos num forno com soleira giratória em' forma de coroa, no qual um redutor carbonoso e óxidos metálicos são depositados numa faixa sobre uma parte da dita soleira giratória e são em seguida transportados num movimento substancialmente em forma helicoidal em direção a um dispositivo de remoção. Este processo é caracterizado pela fato que uma parte do redutor e pré-aquecida e misturada junto com os óxidos metálicos pré-aquecidos antes e/ou depois do depósito numa mistura sobre a soleira giratória, pelo fato que uma segunda parte do redutor é depositada sobre a mistura, e pelo fato que os componentes voláteis do redutor carbonoso e o monóxido de carbono são utilizados para reduzir os óxidos metálicos.
