Patente de Invenção: <B>"PRODUTO DE LIGA DE ALUMìNIO COM TOLERâNCIA AOS DANOS E MéTODO DE SUA FABRICAçãO"<D>. A presente invenção refere-se a um produto compreendendo uma liga com base de alumínio consistindo em (% em peso): Cu 3,8 - 4,9; Mg 1,2 - 1,8; Mn 0,1 - 0,9; Fe máx. 0,12; Si máx. 0,10; Ti máx. 0,15; Zn máx. 0,20; Cr máx. 0,10; impurezas cada máx. 0,05, total máx. 0,15; saldo de alumínio, tal produto tendo um limite de resistência L-0,2% mínimo de 300 MPa ou mais, um limite de resistência LT-0,2% mínimo de 270 MPa, uma dureza de fratura T-L K~ c(ac)~ mínima de 100 MPa. <sym>m ou mais para um painel CCT com 700 mm de largura, e tendo em ambas as seções L/ST e LT/ST um tamanho médio de grão de pelo menos 6 conforme a ASTM E-112. Também a invenção refere-se a um método para a produção de tal produto.
