Abstract
"VIGA DE REFORçO DE PORTA DE VEìCULO E PROCESSO PARA FABRICAR A MESMA". Uma viga de reforço de porta de veículo (18) cortada e formada a frio a partir de uma chapa plana de aço de resistência ultra-elevada, compreendendo uma peça bruta de viga cortada de uma chapa plana de aço de resistência ultra-elevada para prover uma porção de peça bruta central alongada, geralmente plana, estendendo-se de extremidade a extremidade da peça bruta de viga, e porções de peça bruta laterais integrais sobre os lados opostos da porção de peça bruta central. A porção de peça bruta central inclui seções terminais de parede opostas construídas e arranjadas para serem presas fixamente à armação de porta de veículo, e uma seção de parede central alongada estendendo-se entre as seções terminais de parede. As porções de peça bruta laterais incluem seções de parede de escora integrais com os lados da seção de parede central e dobradas por formação a frio em uma direção oposta à de uma superfície plana da seção de parede central, para formar uma estrutura de canal de reforço central possuindo extremidades livres de seção de escora, definidas pelas seções de parede de escora adjacentes às seções terminais de parede e extremidades de seção de parede central integrais com as seções terminais de parede. Um processo de fabricação da viga, incluindo as etapas de cortar a peça bruta a partir de uma chapa de aço de resistência ultra-elevada e dobrar as seções de escora em uma operação de formação a frio, é também incluído.
