Abstract

<B>"CATALISADOR CERâMICO PARA A DECOMPOSIçãO SELETIVA DE N~ 2~0 MéTODO PARA A FABRICAçãO DO MESMO"<D>. O objetivo da presente invenção é produzir um catalisador para a decomposição seletiva de N~ 2~0 dentro de uma mistura de gases nitrosos que deveria ser capaz de ser usada sob temperaturas na faixa de 700°C até pelo menos 1000°C sem reduzir a atividade catalítica do mesmo. Para este fim, o catalisador é compreendido por um material de suporte cerâmico poroso e por uma fase ativa catalítica, através da qual o material de suporte é composto por pelo menos 95 por cento em massa de um dentre diversos compostos alcalino terrosos. O catalisador da presente invenção preferencialmente pode ser usado durante a produção do ácido nítrico.
