Abstract

Patente de Invenção: <B>"CONTROLE DE TAXA DE LUBRIFICAçãO EM TOPO DE TRILHO POR MéTODO DE MODULAçãO DE LARGURA DE PULSO HIDRáULICO"<D>. Sistema de lubrificante para uma locomotiva ferroviária aplica um lubrificante com grande precisão, controlado por computador, em quantidades precisas atrás do último eixo da locomotiva de tal forma que o lubrificante é consumido pelo tempo que todo o trem passa sob todas as condições de trajetória, velocidade, temperatura, e tamanho de trem. Uma modulação de largura de pulso hidráulica (PWM ou % PWM) controla a quantidade de lubrificante liberado. O tempo é dividido em uma série de janelas (33, 34, 35) cada qual consistindo em alguns segundos. O lubrificante liberado a partir de um tanque pressurizado (8) através de mangueiras compridas para uma válvula controlada por solenóide (12) é em seguida medido pela duração dentro desta janela de tempo (33, 34, 35) pelo que o computador computa e abre a válvula (12). A compensação provê a tonelagem do trem e a temperatura do lubrificante, assim como a curvatura da trajetória e a velocidade do trem.
