Abstract

Patente de Invenção: <B>"REVESTIMENTO DE SEMENTE DE INSETICIDA"<D>. A presente invenção refere-se a um revestimento inseticida para uma semente compreendendo um ou mais aglutinantes selecionados de um grupo consistindo em polímeros e copolímeros de acetado de polivinila, celulose de metila, álcool polivinílico, cloreto de vinilideno, acrílico, celulose, polivinilpirrolidona e polissacarídeos e um inseticida e enchimento onde o aglutinante forma uma matriz do inseticida e do enchimento resultando em um revestimento de semente substancialmente não-fitotóxico; métodos de produção do dito revestimento e o tratamento de semente com o revestimento descrito acima. Adicionalmente, a invenção concerne um método de controle de pragas de insetos nascidos do solo, particularmente da ordem de Coleoptera, tais como Diabrotica spp., compreendendo aplicar-se a semente um revestimento inseticida como descrito acima.
