<B>MéTODO PARA RECEPTOR DE CHAMADA SELETIVA PARA DETERMINAR SUA POSIçãO E PARA DESCONSIDERAR CERTOS SINAIS DE SATéLITE<D> Um receptor de chamada seletiva que recebe sinais transmitidos por satélites em órbita utiliza certas informações transmitidas pelos satélites para calcular uma estimativa de sua posição (108, 110). Usando essa estimativa e outras informações, o receptor de chamada seletiva é capaz de economizar energia desconsiderando certas informações (104) contidas em sinais transmitidos que não são destinadas a ele.
