Abstract

Patente de Invenção: MéTODOS E EQUIPAMENTOS PARA MEDIR EFEITOS NãO LINEARES EM UM SISTEMA DE COMUNICAçãO E PARA SELECIONAR CANAIS COM BASE NOS RESULTADOS. São descritos métodos e equipamentos para determinar acuradamente as características de operação ou impacto de efeitos não lineares sobre dispositivos ou sistemas de comunicação que transferem sinais de comunicação de espectro espalhado ortogonalmente codificados. Uma Razão de Potência Walsh (WPR - Walsh Power Ratio) é usada para determinar com maior precisão a resposta do sistema. Tal informação pode ser usada por loops ou circuitos de controle de potência para controlar ou ajustar a operação de elementos ou estágios não lineares tais como amplificadores de alta potência em sistemas de comunicação CDMA ortogonais para prover uma melhor resposta do sistema. As informações podem também ser empregadas para atribuir ou designar canais para usuários do sistema e para proceder a mudanças físicas nos equipamentos (hardware) do sistema. As medições usadas para formular a WPR podem ser efetuadas para componentes individuais ou sistemas inteiros pela introdução ou injeção de sinais de comunicação em múltiplos canais contendo dados e deixando pelo menos um canal vazio. A potência recebida por canal no lado de saída ou emissão do sistema ou dispositivo é então medida. é a seguir formada uma razão de densidade de potência do canal vazio para os canais ativos.
