Abstract

"PROCESSO PARA CALIBRAR UM DISPOSITIVO DE MEDIçãO DE VELOCIDADE OU DE DISTÂNCIA PARA UM VEìCULO". O processo utiliza um veículo (1) que tem um dispositivo gerador e emissor de pulso (2) ajustado à sua caixa de engrenagens (3), no início de uma trilha (4) de comprimento conhecido. A trilha (4) têm um marcador de início (5) e um marcador de final (6), por exemplo, blocos em V a intervalos espaçados sobre a trilha (4), ativados por meio de uma antena montada no veículo (1). Um dispositivo de processamento de sinal (7) conta o número inteiro de pulsos e determina as frações de um comprimento de pulso nos marcadores de início e de final (5, 6). Um microprocessador controla o processamento de sinal, combinando intervalos de tempo, os quais representam frações de um comprimento de pulso nos marcadores de início e de final com o número inteiro de pulsos de maneira efetiva para somar ambas as infrações ao contador de pulsos, e assim determinar de maneira precisa quantos pulsos e que fração de um pulso são gerados quando o veículo caminha, sobre a trilha (4), entre os marcadores de início e final (5, 6).
