Abstract

Patente de Invenção:<B>"PROCESSO PARA A MELHORIA DO PONTO DE ESCOAMENTO DE CARGAS PARAFìNICAS COM UM CATALISADOR à BASE DE ZEóLITO IM-5"<D>. A invenção refere-se a um processo para melhorar o ponto de escoamento de uma carga que contém parafinas de mais de 10 átomos de carbono, no qual a carga a tratar é colocada em contato com um catalisador que compreende o zeólito im-5 e pelo menos um elemento hidrodesidrogenante, a uma temperatura compreendida entre 170 e 500°C, uma pressão entre 1 e 250 bar e uma velocidade volúmica horária entre 0,05 e 100 h^ -1^, em presença de hidrogênio à razão de 50 a 2000 I/II de carga. Os óleos obtidos apresentam bons pontos de escoamento e índices de viscosidade (VI) elevados. O processo também é aplicável aos gasóleos, e a outras cargas que necessitam da redução de seu ponto de escoamento.
