Abstract

"JUNTA COMPREENDENDO UMA L‰MINA COM DUAS FACES OPOSTAS, L‰MINAS DE JUNTA, E, PROCESSO PARA APLICAçãO DE UM REVESTIMENTO SOBRE UMA BORDA DE ABERTURA DE UMA L‰MINA MACIA DE JUNTA". Uma junta, possuindo duas faces opostas e uma borda disposta entre aquelas, apresenta um largo revestimento sobre a borda. O revestimento é suficientemente largo de modo que cubra de quina e se projete para além da quina sobre, pelo menos, um lado da junta, em uma direção perpendicular a um plano facial da junta. O revestimento se projeta por uma quantidade efetiva para dar à junta uma capacidade de vedação melhor do que a capacidade de vedação da mesma junta se ela tivesse um revestimento simplesmente se estendendo de quina sem se projetar. Um processo para revestir as bordas da junta que estão ao redor da abertura, compreende o agrupamento de lâminas de junta, de modo que a cavidade formada pelas aberturas, os lados da cavidade, sejam as bordas da abertura a serem revestidas. O material de revestimento é aplicado na cavidade e entra em contato com as bordas a serem revestidas para formar as bordas revestidas.
