Abstract

Patente de Invenção: MéTODO E EQUIPAMENTO PARA DETECTAR UMA TRANSMISSãO DE FAC-SìMILE. São descritos um método e um equipamento novos e aperfeiçoados para prover uma interface para um sistema de telefonia digital sem fio compatível com telefones e equipamentos de fac-símiles analógicos padrão, de transmissão por fio. Durante uma chamada telefónica, um detetor de fax (11) monitora os dados que chegam quanto a sinais de fax. Caso um fax seja detectado, o processador de dados (12) comuta do processamento dos dados como se eles fossem de voz para o processamento dos mesmos como um fax. Além disso, à estação remota é enviado um sinal notificando-a para processar os dados como um faz e não como voz. O detector de fax (11) opera pela detecção do preâmbulo de uma mensagem V.21, presente no início de todas as chamadas de fax. A energia é medida em ambas as freq³ências do sinal BFSK. Uma decisão é efetuada pela análise dessas energias e pela localização de um arranjo específico que se repete um número suficiente de vezes.
