Abstract
"SISTEMA E PROCESSO PARA O MONITORAMENTO AUTOMáTICO DA CONDIçãO DE FERRAMENTA". O sistema e processo de monitoramento automático para fornecer uma indicação instantânea da condição da ferramenta para um cortador de remoção de material quando corta as peças de trabalho de acordo com uma operação de usinagem determinada para a qual um cortador de remoção de material substancialmente novo do mesmo tipo possui um coeficiente de referência de desgaste médio de ferramenta R~ 0~. O sistema inclui um monitor de torque (7) para medir um torque de corte de acionamento principal M durante o corte de uma peça de trabalho sucessiva. Acoplado ao monitor de torque (7), encontra-se um processador de coeficiente de desgaste de ferramenta (13) para calcular uma pluralidade de coeficientes instantâneos de desgaste de ferramenta r~ (j)~ durante o corte da peça de trabalho sucessiva. Acoplado ao processador de coeficiente instantâneo de desgaste de ferramenta (13) encontra-se um processador de coeficiente médio de desgaste de ferramenta (14) para calcular um coeficiente médio de desgaste de ferramenta R~ (i)~ a partir da pluralidade de coeficientes instantâneos de desgaste de ferramenta r~ (j)~. E finalmente, acoplado ao processador de coeficiente médio de desgaste de ferramenta (14) encontra-se um comparador de coeficiente de desgaste de ferramenta (15) para comparar cada coeficiente médio de desgaste de ferramenta R~ (i)~ com o coeficiente de referência médio de desgaste de ferramenta R~ 0~ para fornecer uma indicação instantânea da condição da ferramenta para o cortador de remoção de material para cada peça de trabalho sucessiva.
