Abstract
<B>PROCESSO E APARELHO PARA SECAGEM E AQUECIMENTO<D>. A presente invenção é dirigida a processos de secagem e aquecimento e a um aparelho incorporando um dispositivo de combustão de pulsação que pode ser usado em um sistema de secagem ou em sistemas de aquecimento. Em geral, o aparelho inclui um dispositivo (12) de combustão de pulsação para a combustão de um combustível para produzir um fluxo pulsante de produtos de combustão e uma onda de pressão acústica. O dispositivo (12) de combustão de pulsação tem uma câmara (18) de combustão conectada a pelo menos um tubo (20) de ressonância. Uma câmara (14) de ressonância circunda pelo menos uma porção do dispositivo de combustão de pulsação e inclui um bocal (34) à jusante do tubo de ressonância (20). O bocal (34) acelera os produtos de combustão fluindo através do mesmo e cria uma altura fictícia de velocidade de pulsação. Em um sistema de secagem (10) o bocal (34) sai para dentro de uma câmara (16) de secagem onde os produtos de combustão contatam um fluxo de alimentação. Quando usado em um sistema de aquecimento (70), por outro lado, o bocal (34) sai para dentro de um edutor (72) que mistura os produtos de combustão com um fluxo reciclado de produtos de combustão para formar um efluente que é alimentado ao dispositivo (74) de troca de calor.
