Abstract

''TRANSMISSãO DE SEQuêNCIA DE SINAIS COM COMPRIMENTO VARIáVEL ATRAVéS DA CAMADA FìSICA DE UM FORMATO DE TRANSMISSãO COM MúLTIPLAS CAMADAS''. Trata-se de um aparelho para comunicação de pacotes de dados em seq³ência de sinais de comprimento variável através de uma camada física em um esquema de comunicação de dados de múltiplas camadas. Cada seq³ência de sinais contém dados de informação (40, 50, 60, 64, 74, 78, 82) e suspensão (30, 32, 34, 36, 38, 42, 44, 62, 66, 76, 80, 84). A suspensão inclui dados de controle de erro dianteiro (FEC) (42, 62, 66, 76, 80, 84). São fornecidos diferentes modos de seq³ência de sinais (Figs. 2, 3, 4, 5) para possibilitar que seja feita uma permuta entre eficiência de largura de faixa e força de transmissão de dados. Os modos de seq³ência de sinais proporcionam diferentes combinações de modulação (tais como QPSK e 16-QAM), taxas de símbolo, níveis de codificação FEC e estrutura de composição e preâmbulo. O aparelho é particularmente adequado para uso em comunicações a montante através de fábricas de televisão a cabo coaxial com fibra híbrida.
