Lid assembly for containers, attachable to the neck of a container containing liquids, wherein said neck has a pouring hole for exiting the liquid, wherein the assembly comprises: - a neck (1) formed by an attachable tubular body axially to the opening of the container; and - a substantially cylindrical retractable lid (2), coupled to the neck (1), comprising: - a ring (3) linked to the neck (1); - a retractable cover (4) to open and close the drain hole; - a hinge (5) to fold the cover (4) in relation to the ring (3); and - frangible bridges (16) between the ring (3) and the cover (4); wherein the assembly is characterized in that the tubular body of the neck (1) comprises: - a lower collar (6), which projects radially outwards towards the lower stop of the ring (3); - an upper coupling washer (7), which projects radially outwards, towards the upper stop of the ring (3); and - a cylindrical part (8) intermediate between the lower collar (6) and the upper washer (7), intended to face an internal face of the ring (3) of the lid, with a height (h), delimited between the lower collar (6) and the upper washer (7) which has a value within a range of 3.3 mm to 4 mm, including the end values of said range. 2.
