método e sistema para fabricar artigos cerâmicos. é descrito um sistema (1) para fabricação de artigos cerâmicos (t), em especial lajotas ou ladrilhos cerâmicos, compreendendo um dispositivo de compactação (2); um conjunto transportador (5) para transportar material em pó (cp) ao longo de um determinado caminho (p), a partir de uma estação de entrada (6) até uma estação de saída (7); um conjunto de alimentação digital (8) para alimentar material em pó (cp) no conjunto transportador (5) na estação de entrada (6), de modo a gerar uma camada (s) de material em pó (cp), possuindo dispositivos de alimentação (9), cada um deles compreendendo uma pluralidade de elementos de distribuição (12) ao longo de seu bocal de saída transversal (11), bem como atuadores (13) correspondentes; uma unidade de detecção (22) para detectar a altura ou espessura do material em pó (cp); e uma unidade de correção de altura (25), localizada a montante da unidade de detecção (22) e do dispositivo de compactação (2), operável para modificar a altura ou espessura da camada (s) de material em pó (cp) transversalmente à dita direção de movimento (a), dependendo dos dados detectados pela mencionada unidade de detecção (22), de modo a tornar a camada (s) mais uniforme.
