Abstract

VIDRO SODA CAL SÍLICA COM ALTA TRANSMISSÃO DE LUZ VISÍVEL. A presente invenção fornece uma folha de vidro com composição de vidro de soda-cal-sílica com uma transmitância de luz visível elevada (LtC) de pelo menos 89%; com comprimento de onda dominante (DW) de cerca de 490 a 505 nanômetros e pureza (Pe) não maior que 1% para espessura de controle de 5,66 mm, e métodos de fabricação do mesmo. A composição de vidro compreendendo uma matéria-prima com baixo teor de ferro, um óxido de ferro total (Fe2O3) de 0,02 a 0,06 % em peso, ferroso (FeO) a partir de 0,006 a 0,02 % em peso, redox (FeO/Fe2O3) de cerca de 0,30 a 0,55; Cr2O3 de cerca de 0,3 a 10 ppm, TiO2 de cerca de 50 a 500 ppm; SnO2 de cerca de 10 a 500 ppm e uma quantidade crítica de cerca de 0,10 a 0,25% em peso de SO3. O baixo teor de óxido de ferro é obtido pela substituição parcial de matérias-primas regulares por matérias-primas com baixo teor de ferro, com uma substituição completa de dolomita regular por uma dolomita de baixo teor de ferro com teor máximo de 0,020% em peso de Fe2O3.
