método para determinar um tempo de início e/ou uma excitabilidade de uma região do cérebro que não é observada como recrutada ou não observada como não recrutada em uma atividade convulsiva de um cérebro de paciente epiléptico. a invenção está relacionada a um método para determinar um tempo de início e uma excitabilidade de uma região do cérebro que não é observada como recrutada ou não recrutada em uma atividade convulsiva de um cérebro de paciente epiléptico. o método de acordo com a invenção compreende as etapas de fornecer um modelo dinâmico de uma propagação de uma convulsão epiléptica nas redes cerebrais; fornecer um modelo estatístico que define a probabilidade de gerar conjuntos de observações do estado das redes cerebrais pelo referido modelo dinâmico; treinar o modelo dinâmico da propagação de uma convulsão epiléptica usando o modelo estatístico e o conjunto de dados de observações da coorte de treinamento; e inverter o modelo dinâmico treinado e inferir o tempo de início e a excitabilidade de uma terceira região a partir do tempo de início que é observado para a primeira e segunda regiões usando o modelo estatístico.
