Abstract
trata-se de um método para reduzir a massa de anodo total de um sistema de proteção catódica (cp) reduzindo-se ou eliminando-se a área total de catodo, sendo que o sistema compreende: um revestimento de primeira camada metálica (2) que é anódica ao componente ou substrato a ser protegido, ligada ao componente ou substrato e eletricamente condutiva. um anodo de sacrifício na forma de um revestimento de segunda camada metálica (3) é distribuído sobre o revestimento de primeira camada (2). o revestimento de segunda camada (3) tem um potencial de circuito aberto que é igual ao revestimento de primeira camada ou que é anódico ao revestimento de primeira camada e ao substrato, o revestimento de segunda camada (3) eletricamente condutivo ligado ao revestimento de primeira camada (2) e exposto ao ambiente circundante.
