Abstract

a presente invenção descreve um processo para tratar um resíduo de lixiviação gerado em uma lixiviação de um concentrado metálico contendo enxofre. nele, o resíduo de lixiviação é alimentado em um reator, em que um gás de fluidificação é injetado no reator para formar um leito fluidificado contendo pelo menos uma porção do resíduo de lixiviação. assim, o resíduo de lixiviação é aquecido na presença de partículas inertes a uma temperatura entre 600 e 900 °c em uma atmosfera oxidante para produzir partículas calcinadas e so2. pelo menos 60 % em peso das partículas inertes são removidas do leito fluidificado enquanto pelo menos 60 % em peso das partículas calcinadas são removidas junto com uma corrente de gás contendo gases de escape e o gás de fluidificação.
