trata-se de uma nova interface aérea que é amigável a cancelamento de interferência. em um aspecto inovador, uma atribuição de taxa de código inovadora com divisão de taxa é proposta. em uma modalidade, uma estação-base decompõe uma palavra de código {x1} em duas palavras de código {x1a} e {x1b}. as duas palavras de código são aplicadas com taxas de código e/ou ordens de modulação diferentes. mais especificamente, a taxa de código, ou a ordem de modulação de palavra de código {x1a}, é definida apropriadamente de forma que um ue de vítima possa decodificar e cancelar {x1a} sob a qualidade de canal do ue de vítima. tipicamente, a qualidade de canal de um ue de vítima é pior do que a qualidade de canal do ue pretendido. como resultado, a mcs para {x1a} pode ser menor que a mcs para {x1b}, de forma que o ue de vítima tenha capacidade para aplicar cwic para decodificação e cancelamento {x1a}.
