Abstract
é provido um método para digestão de uma pasta fluida tereftálica em bruto obtida a partir de oxidação de paraxileno em um processo de oxidação de reator de coluna de bolhas. o método é conduzido em um ou mais reatores de coluna de bolhas tendo uma ou mais zonas segregadas definidas por defletores horizontais e fluxo de partículas através do sistema de digestão é controlado para maximizar conversão de intermediários de oxidação parciais em ácido tereftálico enquanto minimiza formação de outros produtos contaminantes. temperatura, fluxo e teor de oxigênio bem como outras variáveis de processo e equipamento são controladas no decorrer do processo para suportar a formação de ácido tereftálico. também são providos sistemas de digestão de coluna de bolhas estruturados para conduzir o método de digestão.
