Abstract
os sistemas, métodos e dispositivos de armazenamento legível por computador para determinar uma localização de uma fonte acústica fora de um furo. o método refere-se a indicar uma distância radial ao furo, um desvio ao longo do furo e uma posição azimutal em torno do furo da fonte acústica. o método inclui receber sinais acústicos a partir dos respectivos sensores acústicos separados ao longo de uma ferramenta abaixada dentro do furo de poço. utilizando os sinais acústicos e um modelo de furo, as energias empilhadas são calculadas para diferentes distâncias radiais do furo de sondagem. pelo menos uma das energias empilhadas é traduzida para uma indicação de uma distância radial da fonte acústica a partir do furo. a energia empilhada para uma distância radial é calculada por compensação dos sinais de dados acústicos no tempo, de acordo o modelo de furo, somando os sinais de dados acústicos compensados para produzir um sinal empilhado e avaliando a energia do sinal empilhado sobre uma janela de tempo.
