a invenção proporciona chapas de aço de alta resistência tendo boa conformação (trabalhabilidade) e resistência e métodos para a fabricação de tais chapas de aço. a chapa de aço de alta resistência tem uma composição química, incluindo, % em massa, c: 0, 010% a 0, 080%, si: 0,05% ou menos, mn: 0,10% a 0,70%, p: 0,03% ou menos, s: 0,020% ou menos, al: 0,005% a 0,070% e n: 0,0120% a 0,0180%, o restante sendo fe e impurezas inevitáveis, nitrogênio presente como nitrogênio soluto com um teor de 0,0100% ou mais no teor de n, o tamanho médio de grão de ferrita sendo de 7,0 µm ou menos, a densidade das deslocações em uma profundidade de espessura de chapa a partir da superfície de 1/4 sendo de 4,0 x 1014 m-2 a 2.0 x 1015 m-2, a resistência à tração e o alongamento no sentido transversal perpendicular à direção de laminação após o tratamento de envelhecimento, sendo de 530 mpa ou mais e 7% ou mais.
