Abstract
SOLUÇÕES DE PRATA DE ALTA CONCENTRAÇÃO PARA PREPARAÇÃO DE CATALISADOR DE ÓXIDO DE ETILENO E MÉTODO PARA A PRODUÇÃO DO REFERIDO CATALISADOR. Uma solução de impregnação de prata compreendendo: (i) íons de prata, (ii) um intensificador de concentração de prata selecionado a partir de pelo menos um sal de amônio tendo um componente aniônico que é termicamente capaz de se de-compor; ou pelo menos um aminoácido, ou uma combinação dos mesmos, (iii) pelo menos uma amina orgânica; e (iv) água; em que os referidos componentes (i) - (iii) são dissolvidos na referida solução de impregnação, e o ácido oxálico pode ou não ser incluído. A solução de impregnação de prata pode atingir concentrações de prata significativamente mais altas incluindo pelo menos ou acima de 33, 34, ou 35% em peso. Os métodos para a produção de um catalisador de prata por impregnação de prata de um suporte refratário seguido por calcinação também são descritos. Os catalisadores de prata resultantes possuem altas cargas de prata, tipicamente, pelo menos, 17, 18, ou 19% em peso.HIGH CONCENTRATION SILVER SOLUTIONS FOR THE PREPARATION OF ETHYLENE OXIDE CATALYST AND METHOD FOR THE PRODUCTION OF THE SAID CATALYST. A silver impregnation solution comprising: (i) silver ions, (ii) a silver concentration enhancer selected from at least one ammonium salt having an anionic component that is thermally capable of decomposition; or at least one amino acid, or a combination thereof, (iii) at least one organic amine; and (iv) water; wherein said components (i) - (iii) are dissolved in said impregnating solution, and oxalic acid may or may not be included. The silver impregnation solution can achieve significantly higher silver concentrations including at least or above 33, 34, or 35% by weight. Methods for producing a silver catalyst by impregnating a refractory support with silver followed by calcination are also described. The resulting silver catalysts have high loadings of silver, typically at least 17, 18, or 19% by weight.
