Abstract

PROCESSO PARA REAÇÃO LIMITADA AO EQUILÍBRIO DE GLICOL ÉTER E ÁCIDO CARBOXÍLICO. Processo para conduzir reações químicas limitadas ao equilíbrio que produzam água como produto de reação. Especificamente, processo que utiliza uma unidade de cromatografia reativa (RCU) para melhorar a eficiência de reações limitadas ao equilíbrio, tal como um processo para reagir glicol éter (GE) e ácido carboxílico (CA) para formar água e éster de glicol éter (GEE). O processo inclui fornecer GE e CA à RCU, na qual um de CA ou de GE está em déficit estequiométrico em relação ao outro reagente. O reagente em déficit estequiométrico reage na presença do catalisador na RCU para formar uma mistura de GEE e água.
