Abstract

1/1 resumo “método e aparelho para transportar um sinal de cliente ao longo de uma rede óptica” a presente invenção refere-se um método para transportar um sinal de cliente através de uma rede óptica de transporte (otn) que compreende dividir (201) um sinal de cliente recebido em uma pluralidade de sinais paralelos em uma taxa de bits mais baixa. os sinais paralelos são mapeados (202) em um respectivo número de unidades de dados ópticos, odu, cada uma tendo bytes de carga útil e bytes de sobrecarga. cada odu é mapeada (203) em uma respectiva unidade de transporte óptica, otu, tendo bytes de carga útil e bytes de sobrecarga. as otus são transmitidas (204) através de respectivas portadoras ópticas de um supercanal, as portadoras ópticas do supercanal são sincronamente moduladas. a informação de controle de canal óptico é inserida nos bytes de sobrecarga da odu e/ou otu. a informação de controle de canal óptico é usada para gerenciar e/ou controlar o transporte do sinal de cliente usando o supercanal.
