Abstract

sistema e método para operação de um motor de um veículo a presente invenção se refere a um sistema e a um método para operação de um motor (20) de um veículo (10), particularmente um veículo comercial, em que uma transmissão (22) acoplada para o motor (20) possui um modo de rodagem livre. o motor é desativado por ajustamento da transmissão (22) para o modo de rodagem livre e interrupção de suprimento de combustível para o motor (20) no modo de rodagem livre dependendo de uma ou mais condições de operação do veículo (10). em concordância com a presente invenção, uma marcha na transmissão (22) é selecionada proativamente dependendo de uma ou mais ações de operação do veículo (10) antecipadas a serem requeridas em um ou dentro de um limite de tempo pré-definido de re-início do motor (20).
