Abstract
método para decidir sobre uma operação de balanciamento de carga potencial em uma rede sem fio e elemento de rede para uma rede sem fio. a presente invenção refere-se a um método (41) para a decisão sobre se deve ser executada uma operação de balanceamento de carga pontecial (57) em uma rede sem fio (11) tendo uma primeira célula com segundas células incorporadas na mesma. a fim de melhorar o desempenho geral da rede (11), um método (41) é sugerido, para decidir sobre uma operação de balanceamento de carga potencial (57) em uma rede sem fio (11) que compreende uma primeira estação base (15) tendo uma primeira célula (13) e pelo menos uma segunda estação base (21) que tem uma segunda célula, a primeira célula (13) e a segunda célula (21), pelo menos parcialmente sobrepostas entre si. este método (41) consiste em avaliar (45) um impacto de uma operação de balanceamento de carga potencial (57) para uma métrica de desempenho geral (m), a referida métrica (m) caracterizando o desempenho da primeira célula (13) e a pelo menos uma segunda célula (19), e iniciando a operação de balanceamento de carga (57), se a referida avaliação indica que a operação de balanceamento de carga potencial (57) melhoraria o desempenho de acordo com a métrica de desempenho (m).
