Abstract

MÉTODO DE CODIFICAÇÃO DE IMAGEM, MÉTODO DE DECODIFICAÇÃO DE IMAGEM, DISPOSITIVO DE CODIFICAÇÃO DE IMAGEM E DISPOSITIVO DE DECODIFICAÇÃO DE IMAGEM. A invenção refere-se a um método de codificação de imagem que particiona um sinal de imagem de entrada (120) em unidades de processamento e codifica a imagem particionada para gerar uma sequência de códigos (140), sendo que o método de codificação de imagem inclui: determinar um modelo de particionamento para particionamento hierárquico do sinal de imagem de entrada (120) de forma a começar a partir de uma maior unidade das unidades de processamento; gerar informações de partição (131) indicativas do modelo de particionamento; e informações de partição de codificação (131), em que as informações de partição (131) incluem informações de profundidade hierárquica usada máxima (used_max_depth) indicativas de uma profundidade hierárquica usada máxima que é uma profundidade hierárquica de uma unidade de processamento mais profunda das unidades de processamento incluídas no modelo de particionamento.
