Abstract

"APARELHO DECODIFICADOR E MéTODO PARA SUAVIZAR ARTEFATOS CRIADOS DURANTE A OCULTAçãO DE ERRO". Erros em macroblocos codificados são ocultados durante a decodificação por meio de um estágio de ocultação de erros (20) presente em um decodificador (10). Os macroblocos com erros ocultados produzidos pelo estágio de ocultação de erro sofrem a filtragem de desbloqueio por um filtro de desbloqueio (22) antes de serem enviados pelo decodificador para evitar o espalhamento de valores de pixel errados. O estágio de ocultação de erro (20) controla o filtro de desbloqueio (22) de acordo com a técnica de ocultação de erro para variar a intensidade do filtro de desbloqueio para forçar a máxima intensidade nas transições criadas artificialmente pela recuperação de macroblocos perdidos.
