Abstract

"CODIFICAçãO MULTIDIMENSIONAL PARA APLICAçõES DE MìDIA DE ARMAZENAMENTO DE, ALTA DENSIDADE". Trata-se de um método para a codificação de um fluxo de bits aleatório em duas dimensões para armazenamento em um meio de armazenamento. O fluxo de bits aleatório é codificado (3310) usando Codificação com Abertura Variável (VAC) de modo a gerar uma codificação VAC com amplitude constante e largura de pulso variável que representa o fluxo de bits aleatório por uma pluralidade de pulsos separados usando apenas larguras de transição incluas em um conjunto pré-especificado de larguras de bit.
