Abstract

"MéTODO PARA PROVER UMA RECOMENDAçãO DE CONTEúDO A UM USUáRIO, DISPOSITIVO DE RECOMENDAçãO PARA PROVER UMA RECOMENDAçãO DE CONTEúDO A UM USUáRIO, E, GRAVADOR DE VìDEO PRIVADO". A invenção relaciona-se a um sistema para recomendar itens de conteúdo. Um processador de preferência do usuário (113) determina (201) um perfil de preferência do usuário para um usuário para diferentes categorias de conteúdo. Quando um item de conteúdo é recebido (203), um processador de dispositivo de recomendação (111) determina (205) se um primeiro item de conteúdo se correlaciona com o perfil de preferência do usuário. Se existe tal correspondência associativa, o item de conteúdo é recomendado (206) ao usuário. Caso negativo, o processador do dispositivo de recomendação (111) determina (211) se o item de conteúdo recebido compreende pelo menos uma primeira característica possuindo uma correspondência associativa com pelo menos uma segunda característica de um segundo item de conteúdo tendo uma preferência de usuário alta. Se, há tal correspondência associativa, o item de conteúdo recebido é recomendado ao usuário. A correspondência associativa pode ser determinada como existente, se descrições textuais para os dois itens de conteúdo compreendem palavras similares. A invenção permite uma diversidade aumentada nas recomendações e é particularmente adequada para um Gravador de Vídeo Privado.
