Abstract

POLIA EXPANSìVEL Uma polia expansível (100). A polia expansível (100) compreende uma pluralidade de blocos de correia (10) dispostos em torno de um eixo de rotação (A). Cada bloco de correia (10) se apoia sobre uma superfície radial que se estende perpendiculamente ao eixo de rotação. Outra superfície de cada bloco de correia (10) se apoia sobre uma superfície de alemento cónico (16) que é móvel coaxialmente com o eixo de rotação. Uma mola (22) se apoia sobre o elemento cónico (16) que induz o elemento cónico (16) em uma direção axial, o qual por sua vez induz os blocos de correia (10) radialmente para fora a fim de compensar uma mudança em comprimento de correia e manter uma tensão de correia. Um elemento elástico (24) mantém os blocos de correia (10) em contato com o elemento cónico (16).
