MéTODO E APARELHO PAPA ALOCAR E DESALOCAR PROCESSADORES EM UM SISTEMA DE PROCESSAMENTO DE DADOS LóGICOS PARTICIONADOS. Método, aparelho e instruções de computador para gerenciamento de um conjunto de processadores. Em resposta a uma solicitação para desalocar um processador atribuido a uma partição dentro do sistema de processamento de dados lógicos particionados, o processador no conjunto de processadores é parado. Em resposta à parada do processador, o processador é colocado em estado isolado, em que o processador é isolado da partição. O processador é, então, colocado em um grupo de recursos para reatribuição posterior.
