Um composto organometálico que pode ser obtido pela colocação em contato de: um composto apresentando a seguinte fórmula (I) na qual: R^ a^ é um radical hidrocarbono; R^ b^, R^ c^ R^ d^ São átomos de hidrogênio, átomos de halogênio ou radicais hidrocarbónicos; com um ácido de Lewis de fórmula (II) MtR^ 1^~ 3~ (II) no qual Mt é um metal pertencente ao grupo 13 da Tabela Periódica dos Elementos; R^ 1~ é selecionado do grupo que consiste de átomos de halogênio, grupos aril C~ 6~-C~ 20~ halogenados e alquilaril C~ 7~-C~ 20~ halogenados.
