Abstract

"MéTODO DE MONITORAMENTO DE FRATURA E, MéTODO DE FRATURAMENTO". Alterações que ocorrem no furo descendente durante um processo de fraturamento podem criar ou refletir sinais de pressão. A captura e avaliação de tais ondas de pressão durante o fraturamento permitem que o pessoal monitore, em tempo real ou posteriormente, o que acontece no furo descendente. Quando uma fratura se propaga, um estouro de ruído acústico é incorporado em uma onda de pressão ou sinal, tal como um ruído proveniente de outras fontes. Transformando-se os sinais de pressão à base de tempo em uma base de freq³ência, pode-se monitorar este ruído acústico. Em uma implementação particular, um gráfico em cascata do espectro de freq³ência em fatias de tempo sucessivas do sinal original é usado para determinar cristas de freq³ência, tal como uma crista de freq³ências decrescentes indica extensão da fratura, e uma crista de freq³ências decrescente indica tanto fechamento como apoio de agente de sustentação na fratura. Filtração, tal como filtração em pequenas ondas, pode ser usada. Um processo de fraturamento pode ser controlado em resposta à determinação se a fratura está se propagando.
