Adicionalmente, é descrito um processo simplificado para a purificação parcial de água de reservatório contaminada de planta de ácido fosfórico tendo uma relação molar de cálcio e magnésio para flúor maior do que, ou igual a cerca de 0,60, no qual a água de reservatório é tratada com um composto básico, clarificada, colocada em repouso, clarificada outra vez e reacidulada. Thus treated reservoir water, still containing most of the originally present phosphate, can then be concentrated by removing essentially pure water using any conventional means of concentration without the formation of solid precipitates.
