Abstract

"MéTODO PARA CONTROLAR PERDAS DE ATENUAçãO CAUSADAS PELA MICROFLEXãO NO SINAL TRANSMITIDO POR UMA FIBRA óTICA". Método para controlar as perdas de atenuação causadas pela microflexão no sinal transmitido por uma fibra ótica compreendendo uma porção vítrea interna, que compreende: a) fornecer uma primeira camada de revestimento de um primeiro material polimérico para circundar a dita porção vítrea e b) fornecer uma segunda camada de revestimento de um segundo material polimérico para circundar a dita primeira camada de revestimento, em que o dito material polimérico tem uma temperatura de endurecimento menor que 10<198> e um módulo de equilíbrio menor que 1,5 MPa.
