Abstract
"SISTEMA E MéTODO PARA LIMITAçãO ATIVA DE CONSUMO DA ENERGIA ELéTRICA DE UM BARRAMENTO DE DISTRIBUIçãO DE ENERGIA POR UMA OU MAIS CARGAS ELéTRICAS A UM NìVEL DE ENERGIA MáXIMO PREVIAMENTE DETERMINADO". Trata-se de um sistema de controle (10) que limita de forma ativa a energia consumida de um barramento principal de distribuição de energia (20) por uma ou mais cargas elétricas (30). O sistema (10) inclui circuitos (14) para determinação de uma magnitude de corrente máxima permissível que pode ser fornecida às cargas (30) com base em um sinal representativo da magnitude de voltagem fornecida às cargas (30). Circuitos adicionais (18, 34) limitam o consumo de energia a partir do barramento principal de distribuição de energia (20) à magnitude de corrente máxima permissível para não ser excedido um nível de energia máximo previamente determinado. Como resultado, a capacidade de projeto requerida dos componentes de geração de energia e o sistema de distribuição de energia podem ser beneficiados por reduções de tamanho, peso e custo.
