Abstract

"FERRAMENTA DE ABRASãO E EXTREMIDADE DE LIXAMENTO DE COMBINAçãO". A presente invenção refere-se a uma ferramenta de abrasão que é pode ser configurada seletivamente para um movimento de órbita aleatória ou rotação sem a necessidade de um motor reversível. A ferramenta utiliza dois colares, cada qual possuindo metade do deslocamento desejado e metade do contrapeso. Em modo de rotação, os colares são girados de tal forma que seus contrapesos e os deslocamentos cancelam-se e a extremidade fica equilibrada e concêntrica. A placa de lixamento é acoplada aos colares para lixamento máximo. Isso permite lixamento bruto com o mínimo de vibração. No modo de órbita aleatória, o colar de rotação é girado a 180<198>, de tal forma que os contrapesos sejam alinhados sobre um lado do eixo de rotação e os deslocamentos são combinados sobre o lado oposto do eixo. Os dois colares são pregados entre si, mas não à placa de lixamento. São fornecidos meios para a alimentação de água na extremidade de lixamento, para auxiliar no acabamento dos materiais que se beneficiam da moagem úmida.
