Abstract
"UNIDADE DE ACIONAMENTO PARA VEìCULO A MOTOR". Trata-se de uma unidade de acionamento para veículos a motor, compreendendo um motor de combustão interna (1) e uma caixa de engrenagem (9) conectada ao motor através de uma embreagem automatizada (3), a dita caixa de engrenagem (9) consistindo de uma série principal graduada não sincronizada e além disso uma série de variação sincronizada de duas variações com uma posição livre entre suas posições de variação. A embreagem e a caixa de engrenagem são controladas por uma unidade de controle eletrónica (45), para qual há sinais de alimentação representando a engrenagem selecionada de um seletor de engrenagem (46) e sinais representando várias informações de veículo e motor. A unidade de controle está disposta, quando o veículo está imóvel e o seletor de engrenagem na posição livre, para manter a embreagem engatada e a série de variação na posição livre. Quando uma engrenagem é selecionada, a embreagem é primeiro desengatada, após isso a série de variação é movida para uma das posições engatadas para frear o eixo intermediário e tornar possível à ligação da engrenagem na série principal. Após a ligação na série principal, a embreagem é engatada.
