"SISTEMA E MéTODO PARA GERENCIAMENTO DE DIREITOS DIGITAIS USANDO UM MECANISMO PADRãO DE RENDERIZAçãO". Sistema e método para a distribuição segura e consumo de documentos eletrónicos usando um mecanismo de renderização padrão. Os documentos podem usar direitos com eles associados. Um servidor armazena pelo menos um dos documentos em forma legível por computador. Um cliente tendo um programa de aplicação padrão, incluindo um mecanismo de renderização capaz de renderizar documentos descriptografados para visualização é operado por um usuário. O cliente e o servidor são acoplados por uma rede de comunicação. Um módulo de segurança controla solicitações por pelo menos um dos documentos no servidor do cliente e distribui o documento e um conjunto de direitos associados com o documento para o cliente.
