Um artigo com indicação de violação para fixação a uma superfície de um substrato compreende (a) uma folha retrorrefletora e (b) uma camada adesiva, a folha retrorrefletora compreendendo uma camada refletora, uma camada destacável não siliconada adjacente à camada refletora, e uma camada de lentes que se sobrepõe à camada destacável posicionada em conexão óptica com a referida camada refletora de modo a produzir retrorreflexão. O artigo apresenta uma falha coesiva entre camadas na camada destacável da folha retrorrefletora quando é feita tentativa para remover o artigo da superfície do substrato.
