Abstract

"SISTEMA E MéTODO PARA CONFORMAR CHAPAS DE VIDRO". Um sistema (10) e método para conformar chapas de vidro inclui um forno (12) que possui uma câmara de aquecimento (14) na qual uma mesa de prensa de vácuo (20) possui uma superfície voltada para baixo (22) à qual é fornecido vácuo para suportar uma chapa de vidro aquecida recebida de um transportador (16). Uma estação de conformação (24) situada extemamente ao forno possui um molde superior móvel verticalmente (28) e coopera com um anel inferior móvel horizontalmente (34). Um primeiro atuador (39) move a mesa de prensa de vácuo (20) verticalmente para transferir uma chapa de vidro aquecida a partir do transportador (16) até o anel inferior (34) que é em seguida movido por um segundo atuador (40) até a estação de conformação (24). Um terceiro atuador (39) em seguida move o molde superior (28) para baixo para cooperar com o anel inferior (34) na conformação da chapa de vidro. A estação de conformação (24) possui um aparelho (43) para reduzir a perda térmica da chapa de vidro durante a conformação. Um impulso de vácuo é fornecido ao molde superior (28) para auxiliar a conformação. Uma estação de resfriamento (32) resfria a chapa de vidro conformada.
